Oxford’s first purpose built concert hall since the Holywell Music Room. It was built in 1995 at a cost of £1million raised entirely by public subscription as a living music memorial to the great artist. It has a very flattering acoustic for voice and instruments and comfortably seats 210. It is situated within the grounds of St Hilda’s College in East Oxford and is the venue for many classical and jazz concerts, rehearsals and recordings.
