Come and roam between these giant, other-worldly objects and experience their sonic universe. Sounds emanate from inside the pods and resonate upon their surface, creating music that you can hear, feel and touch. Colony will activate at regular times, transforming the Castle market square on Friday evening and the street food market at Gloucester Green on Saturday.

Some may remember a small advance party of sonic pods visiting Oxford’s Light Festival in 2014.

Colony is created by artists Alison Ballard and Mike Blow and their show will tour around the UK in 2016 and 2017.

Presented by OCM with support from Oxford City Council and Arts Council England. Produced by Hogarth Productions. Co-commissioned by Hogarth Productions and Oxford Contemporary Music with funding from Arts Council England and Reading Borough Council.
