Oxford is full of astonishing places and creative people, so OCM is celebrating our city this spring.
We have commissioned internationally renowned sound-artist Ray Lee to create a fascinating new show that revels in the wonders of scientific innovation at the Museum of the History of Science. In the atmospheric shadow of the historic Oxford Castle and prison, we’ll transform the Market Square into a buzzing hive of home-made music and art at Editions of You. Our own composers and soundsmiths also take centre stage alongside some very special guests across the city at the Audiograft festival.
Ever excited and curious about musical innovation abroad, we have invited stars of jazz, folk and roots music from France, Italy, the USA and Congo to present a contrasting programme of intimate jazz, haunting folk and at times blistering salsa and soukous. Finally, if you’d like to be part of the programme yourself, the OCM Open could be your chance when we team up with Pegasus for a day of home-grown genre-busting talent.
Come along and join us on our musical adventure. See the event pages for further details and Downloads for recordings of past OCM evens.
