Sound artist + knitter Felicity Ford (KNITSONIK) explores the history of Oxford through its textiles, collecting stories as part of the Museum of Oxford’s 40th anniversary celebrations.

KNITSONIK will record your story and digitise your object. Your stories and memories make up Oxford’s history… help bring that history alive by sharing your textile objects and their stories.

Furious Folly Trailer 2015 from OCM on Vimeo.

Last year we supported Mark Anderson’s new outdoor show, Furious Folly in Newbury. An immersive open-air collage of sound, kinetic devices, pyrotechnics and performance, inspired by the Dadaists movement of the early 20th Century.

Furious Folly uses the Dada ethos to rail against the inhumanity and senselessness of conflict past and present. You might be interested to know the show had its premiere in full in Belgium in May 2015 as part of Poperinge 14-18 Life Behind The Lines.
