Bringing the Nation's Street Bands to Oxford
Friday 7 - Sunday 9 May
Inspired by the Honkfest and other community street band festivals in the USA and Europe and the success of Oxford’s own Horns of Plenty, OCM brings together community street bands from across the UK. Over three days the bands will be honing their skills, sharing stories and pulling together performances. Street Band Weekend celebrates community music that always has a sense of humour and has joie de vivre, attitude and imagination in spades.

Honk-In!
Saturday 8th May, 7-10pm
Oxford Castle FREE!
It’s a big, brass, jazz, latin, funk, ska, balkan...HONK-IN! Come on down to the Castle for a night of free-non-stop performances by funky brass street bands from across the UK.
Street Band Symphony
Sunday 9th May, 4pm onwards
Broad Street
Former Welfare State Musical Director and world’s fastest one-man band Pete Moser leads the Street Band Gathering in the creation of one almighty street band to be unleashed on the town as the culmination of the weekend’s activities.

To qualify for the 'Band' price the group attending must be a sufficient quota of the band's players to perform in public.
Under 16s welcome but must accompanied by an adult.
