A live composition which plays with our sense of place and scale
The Basement
Janek Schaefer uses surround sound, a short range FM transmitter and hand held radios located within the audience. The composition weaves together found sound textures, spatial sonorities and the Shruti Box with its lulling and engulfing energies.
