Steer’s DIY approach to instrumentation is met with the ethereal yet earthy and engaging vocals of composer and songsmith Tony Burnside. Homelife’s new album Exotic Interlude, released earlier this month, is a precious, slow brewed, entrancing work. Drift away amidst swarms of coloured percussion, bulbous synths and fresh, Hawaiian guitar.
