A tribute to Charlie Parker's Bird with Strings, one of the best selling albums in the history of jazz

Gilad Atzmon returns to the Wesley Memorial Church, one of his favourite venues in the UK, this time with the Sigamos String Quartet. This new project brings his own compositions together with his very original interpretations of tunes from the 1950s album. The combination of Atzmon’s bebop virtuosity with stunning string arrangements creates a very special performance that was a big hit at the London Jazz Festival.
