Emily Burridge

Emily Burridge & Unni Løvlid

Emily Burridge is a cellist whose deft improvisational skill creates music that is fluid across genres, encompassing classical to contemporary.  Previously performing for OCM with “king of the pedal steel guitar” BJ Cole, she has also worked with Jools Holland, Zero 7 and Stereophonics.  “music that is deep, thoughtful and also lifts your spirits”  European Progressive Rock

Unni Løvlid’s ethereal voice is spellbinding and she is regarded as one of the finest folk singers Norway has produced.  Singing Norwegian folk-inspired songs this ‘a capella’ performance will sound exquisite with the chapel acoustic.  “[Unni Løvlid’s] remarkable voice, as pure as a stream's refracted light and as lulling and seductive as a ripe moon” Roots World

These concerts form part of OCM’s education and outreach programme, presented in collaboration with Artscape and OBMH Spiritual and Pastoral Care Team.
