Coco Mbassi
Cameroonian singer songwriter Coco Mbassi describes her music as a “tree with deep African roots and branches that extend some towards classical music, some towards soul, gospel and jazz, and others towards Latin music and even pop music”. Her songs and her voice which exude warmth and soul have made her a fond favourite of WOMAD audiences across the world.

Adel Abdessemed, Pilar Albarracín, Yto Barrada, Mircea Cantor, Jem Cohen, Jimmie Durham, Simryn Gill, Julia Meltzer and David Thorne, Lia Perjovschi, Michael Rakowitz, Ernesto Salmerón, Yara El-Sherbini and Sislej Xhafa.
Presenting work by fourteen international artists, across a range of media including sculpture, painting, film, video and performance, Transmission Interrupted looks at how contemporary artists disrupt prevailing forms of registering and representing the world.
