Fresh from winning the 2009 British Composer Award, Graham Fitkin has assembled a nine-piece band of virtuoso musicians to perform his latest compositions, including the incredible percussionists Aidy Spillett and Joby Burgess (Ensemble Bash). Now he treads the line between formal and free forms, In a brilliant evening of non-stop music, Fitkin and his band of trumpet, saxes, percussion, guitar, harps and bass perform vibrant sounds, pulsating rhythms, with a hint of jazz and minimalism.
