Oxford based label Geometric records brings you a night of home grown organic electronica.
PRDCTV (say Productive, aka Alex Lloyd) is at times delicately melodic and at others franticly infectious. Joined live by Chima Simpson-Bell, who plays guitar, bass, and the occasional keyboard or two, PRDCTV’s folk-tinged music blurs the boundaries between traditional instrumentation and electronica to create an inventive and organic sound. He works on a number of remixes for high-profile artists, including Patrick Wolf, Theoretical Girl and El Guincho.
Oxford’s own “gig-in-a-gallery happening,” Nightshift. Gather in the gallery’s foyer at 5.30pm and join a guided exhibition tour to see great new art before settling down in the café from 6pm to hear great new music.

Cova Macías: Encounters - Lower Gallery - 30th September to 29th November 2009
Cova Macías’ practice examines how young people construct their identity. This exhibition contains compelling video work, in which young protagonists present themselves to the camera, blurring the line between documentary and fiction.
