Using viola da gamba, clarinet, music boxes & chimes, French musician Colleen’s minimalist & melodic aesthetic has won her fans since her debut album for the Leaf Label in 2003.
Achingly funny poet Byron Vincent weaves words like a pro-footballer dodges tackles. He gets straight to the heart of whatever subject he turns his wit to. For Slounge he presents his new film on live poetry, fresh from the cutting room.
Composer and film-maker, Nicholas Brown presents “An Audience with the Trees”, an installation that turns Vivaldi's 'Four Seasons' into birdsong, and “The Rainbow Book”, a film about colour with live musical accompaniment.
In collaboration with Clare Salter, OVADA, Hammer and Tongue & the Jam Factory.
Due to the lack of trees(!) at the Jam Factory it is being kindly hosted by the Saïd Business School just across the road.
Come to the Jam Factory to book your visit on Monday, just turn up there on Tueday and Wednesday.
