Beethoven String Quartet Op.18 No.2
Tunde Jegede String Quartet No.2
Tunde Jegede Exile and Return
Bartok String Quartet No.1
The Brodsky Quartet are the ultimate musical explorers. They have worked with musicians in almost every field of music imaginable, and this concert is no different. The 21-string African harp-lute kora, played by Tunde Jegede, will share the stage in a wonderful piece written for kora and quartet. The quartet also performs Jegede’s celebrated response to Beethoven’s Quartet No.2. To begin the evening we will be treated to a special performance by local Senegalese kora player and griot Jali Fily Cissokho.
