Sounds of Oxfordshire has been a six month project to capture the sounds that make the county. Robert Jarvis is BBC Oxford's composer in residence and he took up the suggestions sent into the BBC by listeners and compiled a fascinating catalogue of sounds that define Oxfordshire life.
A programme on the project and resulting sound art-work created by Robert Jarvis was aired on Sunday 1st November 2009.
You can find out more and listen to the program on BBC Oxford's website.
