OCM have teamed up with our friends at The Oxford Music Network to present a new Lunchtime Concert Series running every thursday from 4th June to 9th July @ 1.15pm.
The sessions are full of a variety of classy professional musicians and groups. It's great music for the price of a sandwich and you can bring your lunch too and eat as you listen!

Recording life in sound our friend Felix Ford continues to log the soundtracks to your lives. From sonic breakfast plates to the drones of Bath, it's all there mapped out on the
OCM originally commissioned Powerplant back in 2005 for an event at Oxford's Botanic Garden, in 2008 it went on to be a part of Liverpool's European Capital of Culture and now it's been added to the British Council's showcase week at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August. We're getting ready to re-launch our website this summer. On the site there will be many new ways for you to interact with OCM including online ticket sales and downloads of OCM shows, more news to follow shortly!
April 23rd saw the launch of a major project for OCM commissioned by BBC Oxford and funded by Made in England, a partnership formed with Arts Council England to celebrate St Georges day. Over the next 6 months artist Robert Jarvis will tour Oxfordshire looking for the sounds & stories that make our great county so unique. Please contribute to a soundscape for the future.
