Europe's oldest purpose built concert hall, opened in 1748. Handel is among many of the famous composers to have performed here. It was refurbished in 1959-60 and is now one of Oxford's most atmospheric concert venues. It holds 200 but has an intimate feel. It is attached to Wadham College and used frequently by the University of Oxford Music Faculty.
