Tangents –
New Directions in Tango is an adventurous new collaboration
between the acclaimed tango ensemble Tango Siempre and some
of Europe’s most innovative creative musicians
working in jazz and electronica.
Jonathan Taylor (piano), Pete Rosser
(accordion), Ros Stephen (violin), Roger Huckle (violin) and
Yaron Stavi (double bass) will be joined by award-winning
saxophonist Gilad Atzmon and outstanding drummer/remixer Steve
Argüelles to perform a ground-breaking fusion of Tango
Argentino, jazz and live electronics. The performance will
include specially commissioned new works by Will Gregory (of
Goldfrapp), Gilad Atzmon and Steve Argüelles.
