Bobo Stenson – Piano
Anders Jormin – Bass
Jon Falt – Drums
Bobo Stenson’s exceptional
CV includes collaborations with Sonny Rollins, Stan Getz and
Jan Garbarek. Having been amongst the vanguard of jazz for
the last 40 years he still manages to be an essential member
of today’s scene, creating ‘A triumphant splicing
of minimalism, intensity [and] awesome technique’ (The
Guardian). Not just for jazz aficionados, the appeal of the
trio has spread much further with their latest album ‘Goodbye’,
which features an eclectic choice of covers ranging from Henry
Purcell’s ”Music For A While” to Tony Williams’
“There Comes A Time”.
Making up the rest of the trio are Anders Jormin and Jon Falt.
Jormin is a master bassist with more than 40 albums to his
credit including many successful recordings as band leader.
Falt, a comparatively new arrival on the jazz scene but a
regular member of the trio for the last four years, completes
the line up of this Trio of talents “…that seems
to think with one mind’ Time Out
