Sister band to Timeline, founders of the (cream of the new jazz generation) F-ire Collective, and featuring a similar line up, Méta Méta is joined by a guest vocalist to play a sumptuous set of tunes inspired by the Afro-Cuban tradition.
Tonight the band joins forces with vocalist Maurizio Ravalic who has worked with the likes of Paul McCartney, Dennis Rollins
and the James Taylor Quartet. Also performing on the night areOxford’s own Afropean Choir and Zap Mama singer, Anita Daulne, to present a rich blend of African, Cuban and European inspired music together in the beautiful setting of St Barnabas Church. Presented in collaboration with Big Village.
